Maxima is the root word for “Maxim”.
While many people would associate Maxim with the men’s magazine, the word Maxim itself actually has a very positive meaning – “a succinct statement or observation of a fundamental principle, general truth, or rule of conduct” (Wiktionary, 2008).
Which is what I wish to do. To present what I believe to be the truth, or a fundamental principle. This blog is created solely for that purpose. To construct a medium in which the vox populi, so often to be proven flawed, is questioned for its truthfulness. I do not believe in following blindly, and I want to speak out against the many problems in the Singaporean society today, as I perceive. What is in here is entirely of my own, and of no one else’s.
