He was placed in a detention centre, and not a maximum security prison. This one tried to bomb Yishun Mrt, crash a plane into Changi Airport, and some other things I cannot remember. If there is one man who they should make sure doesn't escape, it would be this man. After all, he actually escaped from a toilet in a detention centre. I think I have stricter security when I was visiting the toilet during O levels. That man is a terrorist, and the LEADER of the Singapore JI.

But, I've always thought it's an inevitable habit among all man, and not just Singaporeans. No? Besides, Mas Selamat's escape is not something 'our world-class government' have done.
